LUNCH MENUSNOW AND INCLEMENT WEATHER
To prepare for potential school closing the day before or morning of due to SNOW, ICE, or INCLEMENT WEATHER (ie, Severe conditions), WHBP&K will follow the decision of Knox County Schools. Please refer to the radio or television for a Knox County Schools announcement.
If inclement weather begins during the school day, WHBP&K will close at the same time as Knox County Schools. Pick up for ALL students should occur by that designated time. If you prefer, you may pick up your child earlier than the designated time. Aftercare will not be offered.
If Knox County Schools remain closed for multiple consecutive days, closure decisions for WHBP&K will be as follows:
Day 1: Follow Knox County Schools
Day 2: Follow Knox County Schools
Day 3: WHBP&K will make an independent decision. Information will be announced via email.
LATE START POLICY for Snow/Inclement Weather: WHBP&K will follow the decision of Knox County Schools as follows:
1 Hour Late Start: WHBP&K will open doors beginning at 9:15 AM
2 Hour Late Start: WHBP&K will open doors beginning at 10:15 AM

Please always determine the safety of your travel for your family. Do not attempt to bring your child to school if your neighborhood or driveway makes it unsafe. Kindergarten students whose parents have determined it is unsafe for them to attend because of the weather will receive an excused absence and should check in with the teacher about missed work when they return to school.

According to the Department of Education, when your child has had a fever he/she must be fever-free for 24 hours (without the aid of medication) before returning to school. The same is true in the case of illness accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea. The child must by symptom free for 24 hours, without the aid of medication before returning to school.
IMMUNIZATION POLICY
All students must be fully immunized for Child Care/Preschool/Pre-K requirements. Please consult your pediatrician.
